Many projects begin the funding process by asking where the money is. A better starting point is to ask whether the opportunity is presented in a way that the right capital provider can understand, assess and act upon.

Credibility first

Investors and lenders need clear ownership, financial information, use of funds, project economics, security where relevant, management capability and a realistic execution plan.

Match the structure to the project

Equity, debt, structured finance and asset-backed solutions each suit different situations. The goal is not to force every project into the same funding product, but to find a structure aligned with the risk, cash flow and objectives.

Relationships matter

Funding remains a people business. Introductions matter, but trust is built through accurate information, responsiveness and realistic expectations on both sides.
